At MX Institute for Higher Education, the focus is that of giving our students the skills they will be requiring both on an academic and professional level. All this is provided at affordable rates.

Fully qualified staff

All our staff are all fully qualified academically and experienced in the field they teach in. We only employ lecturers and tutors that have a Master’s level of education in their field and that also have formal training in education.


Our facilities include fully air-conditioned premises including a computer lab equipped with state-of-the art computers and projection facilities, two lecture rooms, library, lecture recording studio and waiting area all equipped with Wi-Fi internet access.

Personal Attention

All training groups are limited in number (maximum of 8 students per session). We provide individual attention to ensure that your training and learning issues and queries are catered for throughout the entire course.

Notes and Learning Material

Full course notes, handouts and past papers are provided at no extra charges. During all our courses each student uses a computer by-oneself to work at one's own pace.


All students attending at MX Institute are given a username that is used in order to access self-study material, past papers (including model answers), demonstrations and video tutorials related to the course they are following to further help them in their studies.

Licensing and Accreditation

MX Institute for Higher Education is a Limited Liability Company (Company N°: C86281) registered with the Malta Registry of Companies as a Higher Education Institution and licensed by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (License N°: 2019-018) as a Furthur and Higher Education institution licenced to provide higher education services, training and tuition. MX Institute for Higher Education Ltd is an OTHM Approved Center (License N°: DC1910368).

Training Site

Lectures are delivered either live on line via the GoToMeeting Platform or at our premises in 183, Triq il-Bazilika, Mosta (Malta).

Language of Instruction

All lectures are delivered in English. Students are expected to submit all their assignments and deliver their presentations in English.

Program Duration

Each OTHM Diploma has a (minimum) duration of nine months. Each diploma consists of six modules. Each module will take approximately one and a half months to be completed.

Course Intake Months

Students can join a course either in October, or in January, or in June

Information for Non-EU Students

Non-EU students might require a Visa in order to be able to travel to Malta and join one of our courses. More information about this can be obtained from the Central Visa Unit website.
